The To-Do pile.
Got around to scanning the first batch of Quick sketches! Looks like... ten so far! Whew!
And that's including a couple from the previous list! There would be one more, but I decided to redraw that one.
It's been a stressful week already, but there's no choice but to keep moving forward!
These are ready for colour lovin'! And I'm still going to continue sketching more.
E'err day I'm Sketchin'!
PS: My background rotates and currently it's on a shot from the Prince of Persia game... in case you couldn't tell!

Badges: Crocdragon, Taiko and Lotus
Sent out today!
Tried a different approach to these than the last (first?) batch I did! Really, these will change and evolve as I explore different methods. But these were fun! Got me to work with colours I don't usually work with!

Karmakat: Inks
Self explanatory...
I have another WIP in the works, but I actually don't remember if I'm allowed to post it or not! So Have this! :)
The background is going to be painted, so the lines are just there for show.

Badges: Just about ready for preorders!
One of the things holding me back on the shipping of these was first finding the right slips to put the cards in, and then figuring out how to make the holes in them for the badge clips. Proper hole punches are still a bit out of my price range, HOWEVER;
I've utilized
Once these first ones go out, I'll be doing badge orders by 5- since that's how the mailers come. I think that will keep it manageable.
Christmas Party WIP
Also self explanatory! Mostly.
I want to say that, while I'm disappointed I didn't get this image done on time (it's JUNE)- I'm not exactly sorry. Why?
Well, more time means I've had more time to practice. Admittedly, the part I dread the most about this image was lighting the background. I'd think about it and go "aauughgghh"
The quick colour commissions really help me to sort of fine tune my technique. And actually, for lighting the background - I deleted what had previously took me hours to do, started from scratch, and did it much more to my liking in a matter of minutes!
It's still by no means complete, but I'm not afraid to work on this any more.
So yes, while I'm embarrassed at how long this image is taking, I'm not sorry! The quality this deserved and what I wanted to bring from the beginning will speak for itself when the image is completed. I didn't want it to be something I looked at and new how many corners I cut to complete it at a so called 'reasonable time'. That's just... not how I do it! Like they say, do it fast or do it right.
But thanks to all the practice from my Quick Colour commissions, I guess now I can get it done a little faster, AND I can get it done right.
